Old Abbey
Saint-Martin d'Auchy Abbey located in Sainte-Marguerite-lès-Aumale.
This abbey, founded at the end of the 10th century, is established on a terrace overlooking the valley of the Bresle. Rehabilitated by the Benedictines of the Congregation of Saint-Maur from 1703, it retains several elements to this day: a conventual building including the guest room, kitchen, refectory and chapter, topped by the dormitory floor. There is also the influence of the cloister, the old church as well as the terraces with their walls. The remains of a chapel of Sainte-Clotilde are still visible and we note, outside this influence, the presence of a tower of the old farm.
