The foundation of the convent goes back to the seventeenth century (1617). In 1791 this establishment was sold as a national asset.
It became a private property remaining intact until 1822, when the estate
broke up. The church serves as a barn and the cloister was abolished.
Today only the sandstone chapel remains, built in 1662. Owned by the
commmity it has become a showroom.
