Yquebeuf- L'Eglise

yquebeuf-eglise

Dedicated to Saint Étienne, this church, which was in ruins at the beginning of the 18th century, was rebuilt in 1769 at the initiative of Father Grouard, parish priest.
The interior design continued in 1778: the priest ordered a Louis XVI style high altar from Vauquelin, architect, framed by paneling and doors leading to the sacristy and topped by an exhibition niche.
