Fondé en 1058, le Prieuré Saint-Gabriel présente
un bel ensemble architectural dont ne subsistent
que le chœur de l’abbatiale, chef d’œuvre de l’art
roman normand, la Porterie du XIIIe siècle, la salle
dite « salle de justice » et un ancien cellier ainsi
que la tour de justice, édifiée pendant la guerre de
Cent Ans.

Saint-Gabriel Priory.
Founded in 1058, Saint-Gabriel Priory makes a fine architectural ensemble of which the only surviving parts are the choir of the abbey church, a masterpiece of Norman Romanesque art, the 13th century Gatehouse, the room known as «the Hall of Justice», an old larder, and the tower of justice, built during the Hundred Years War.
